  • 150gLean beef mince (5% fat)
  • 120gTomato pasta sauce
  • 15gParmesan, grated

Cook the pasta
Boil salted water. Cook high-protein pasta per packet (8–10 min). Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.

Brown the mince
Heat pan over medium-high. Add beef mince and break apart. Season with salt, pepper and garlic. Cook 5–6 min until browned.

Add the sauce
Pour in tomato sauce and stir to combine. Simmer 3–4 minutes. Add pasta water to loosen if needed.

Combine and serve
Add drained pasta to sauce and toss well. Serve topped with grated parmesan.
